2020 has been a challenging year. Covid19 is having a significant impact on cancer research and cancer patients. The pandemic often caused feelings of uncertainty and loneliness.

Important new cancer researches
We are grateful that we have been able to make a difference for cancer patients in this difficult year. We funded important new cancer research. Cancer support centers providing counseling services throughout the country received extra financial support. Despite all the restrictions, thousands of people raised funds for the Dutch Cancer Society. We organised a successful socially-distanced door to door collection and we lit up thousands of lanterns that burned for everyone affected by cancer.
