KWF has been given the opportunity to participate in the Health~Holland PPS Pilot of 2024. The purpose of this pilot is to allow parties to gain experience with the structure of the new 'PPP Innovation Subsidy Regulation'. This includes, among other things, new funding conditions.

The PIPELINE call aims at the clinical development of new pharmaceuticals that originate from academic research and have the potential to substantially improve the treatment for cancer patients with unmet medical needs. Any type of pharmaceutical that is regulated as a medical product in the European Union is eligible.

The aim of this call is to stimulate the further development of smart measurement technology to provide (early) diagnosis and monitoring of oncological patients in a minimally invasive manner and closer to home.

The aim of this call is to validate (combinations of) already discovered, promising biomarkers that correlate with patient relevant outcomes or treatment responses and that can be used in daily clinical practice in the near future. Therefore, efforts are needed to set up collaborative, multidisciplinary studies with special attention to (combinations of) biomarkers that are potential candidates for clinical implementation. The focus of this call is to bring together the necessary expertise in the field of biomarker research and clinical care to reach the next developmental phase of the biomarker candidate(s) on their way to daily practice and to provide the appropriate framework and funding. 

The aim of this call is to contribute to an inclusive palliative care environment, where every patient, regardless of their cultural, religious or social background, receives respectful and high-quality care. We invite researchers to contribute to increasing understanding of the socio-cultural factors that influence the access, quality and experience of palliative care for diverse patient groups, and to develop innovative solutions that can overcome these barriers so that everyone receives appropriate palliative care.

The aim of the Proof of Concept (PoC) programme is to catalyze impactful inventions, ensuring they reach patients more often and faster.

This program is intended to successfully bring promising biomarker(s) that have already demonstrated good validation into practice. 

This call is dedicated to basic research to uncover the underlying mechanisms that drive the onset, growth, and spread of cancer. Its aim is to address knowledge gaps, gain new scientific insights, and identify new leads and targets for preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. The call is intended for project proposals within the Basic research and Credentialing phases.
